Lord, that was a month. I find myself simultaneously elated and exhausted — and definitely looking to celebrate the completion of my first 1/12 of residency this evening.
AKA, going to bed at 8 tonight.
… after stopping off at the pharmacy for some moisturizer. Fact: wearing surgical masks for 12 hours per day rubs the tops of your ears raw. It’s über uncomfortable.
More importantly, here’s what happened in the world of books this month:
My book of the month: House of Salt and Sorrows by Erin A. Craig
Moody. Spooky. All the nautical vibes. Salt and Sorrows was an absolute delight of a book.
What else did I read this month?
- Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo
- Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo
- The Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan
- The Titan’s Curse by Rick Riordan
- Daughter of Smoke & Bone by Laini Taylor
- Silver in the Wood by Emily Tesh
- Drowned Country by Emily Tesh
