Oh man. Tamora Pierce has totally outdone herself: the ridiculous, abusive relationships featured in The Hand of the Goddess get “better” in The Woman Who Rides Like a Man.

Sprinkle on top some disjointed prose, racial stereotypes, an absent plot … and WHAT is with those character reversals?
